Aleksander Barkov, Jr.

Aleksander Aleksandrovich Sasha Barkov is a Finnish professional ice hockey centre. He is currently playing for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League . Barkov was selected by the Florida Panthers in the first round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He is the son of former Russian hockey player Aleksander Barkov, Sr., and holds dual Finnish and Russian citizenship. He grew up in Tampere, Finland where his father was playing for Tappara of the Finnish SMLiiga.
